We Get You Involved!!!

Students who become part of this Society will have the opportunity to build leadership skills while informing the campus community of issues that they find significant. And because global topics are broad and can range from languages to affects of climate change, students have the flexibility to raise awareness and address various topics. This offers its members and students a valuable insight and opportunity to express their concerns campus wide. We invite all interested students of Stony Brook University to the Society of Global Awareness.

What is the Society for Global Awareness doing?

The Society for Global Awareness conducts may [programs and has events during the Academic Year at Stony Brook University.

In 2008-2009 The Society of Global Awareness was awarded the Residential Programs Undergraduate College Program of the Year and then was also awarded the Student Life Award for "Multicultural Program of the Year" for GLS Around the World.
