A Student Organization at Stony Brook University
The Eleanor Roosevelt Quad is establishing an annual tradition titled
“GLS Around the World,” a cultural festival that encompasses Stony
Brook University’s diverse community and pride. This festive event
aims to capture the energy of students who are eager to get involved and
discover what Stony Brook University has to offer. Students will have
the chance to explore a wide variety of cultural and international
opportunities available on campus. There will be several demonstrations
of art, culture and history as well as music, food, and elaborate stage
performances from clubs, organizations and academic departments. This
is grand opportunity to learn about undergraduate academic departments,
international programs, and study aboard programs.
The Global Studies Council’s goal is to uphold multiculturalism and an
awareness of various cultures and nationalities. This event will be the
celebration and arena for students to experience just that. All are
welcome to attend this event.
